In order to achieve our sustainability goals sooner and better, we have decided to apply the evaluation and monitoring system of the EcoVadis platform.
We have already started the process of analysing the current state of the company, providing data on our procedures, our environmental and land protection systems, and we are looking forward to receiving the first comprehensive report on our level of ‘sustainability’ at the beginning of 2025.
Today, we are already taking many steps, as well as conscious choices every day, to reduce our environmental impact.
Some examples:
– Strict waste disposal policy
– Procedures to reduce water waste and preserve water
– Installation of energy-saving devices
– Monitoring and minimisation of nitrogen waste
– Continuous renewal of machinery to maintain high energy performance
Our future goals
The EcoVadis platform will help us to achieve one of our most ambitious sustainability goals faster: net-zero.
By going down the path of decarbonisation, we aim to reduce and phase out the emission of greenhouse gases into the environment. First for us, then for our entire supply chain.
In industry, 60 per cent of global emissions are generated by supply chains, but less than 15 per cent are reported as a result of resource or capacity shortfalls to begin with.
The first step is to collect data on CO2 emissions. Estimates are not enough, let’s move to numbers and pursue concrete targets with concrete strategies.
