Roberto Renzini CEO

Roberto took on the role of CEO at SAIP in October 2022. He comes from a long career in the hydraulics industry and his last experience was in a company managed by 3 different Private Equity funds, which allowed it to grow significantly over 14 years. SAIP was also acquired a few years ago by a Private Equity Fund and the hope is to follow the same path.
Roberto knows that this can mean a huge boost to growth and improvement, so he accepts.

‘The first request I made to the ownership was to be allowed to create a managerial staff, because a winning project is not only made up of numbers, but first of all it must be shared and embraced by the team, which must have the right skills and personal characteristics to develop it. Sense of challenge, evolution and growth are the 2 mantras that must guide us.’

How is SAIP growing?

‘With investments, robotization, new technologies and operational improvements such as the revision of the ERP and automated process control. But above all we are doing a great job of work culture, to be and remain a truly professionalised and customer service-oriented company.
We believe that, given the product for granted, what can make the difference today is the service, which is not only made up of meeting deadlines and promptness in proposals and responses, but is above all human relations, established in an honest and sincere manner by professionals who believe in and are committed to their work’.

Is SAIP tradition or innovation?

‘Do we have to choose? Saip is a historic but new company: it does not lose traditional values such as technical expertise and product quality, but adds a structured and international mentality. We have grown a lot in the last few years, and this requires continuous commitment. We are convinced that by sharing objectives and strategies to achieve them with everyone, we can create a company that turns pressure into motivation and is able to translate it, of course, into customer satisfaction.

When SAIP speaks of #energyflow it therefore describes not only the energy of the fluid flowing through its products but also characterises the drive forward as a continuous flow of relationships between itself, the market and end customers.
It is a virtuous motion of requests, solutions and collaboration designed to make everyone grow.
